Slide 1 · From Form to Digital Twin

The wizard collects human-friendly inputs (name, location, tech, tariff).
When you click Generate Digital Twin, we create a structured JSON object.
That object is the “digital twin” of the real asset – one canonical record per plant.
Every other module (marketplace, SDN, analytics) reads this same description.

Slide 2 · Backend API – /api/der-assets

The wizard sends the digital twin to the backend via POST /api/der-assets.
The API validates the payload and stores it in the Global DER Registry (DB).
The response returns an assetId that links this twin to downstream services.
Same API works for Mai Hydro, U.S. solar, wind, and battery sites.

Slide 3 · Where the Twin Flows in Power2Peer

Marketplace uses the twin to list assets, price deals, and tokenize cashflows.
SDN / Routing Engine uses capacity, location, and grid context to schedule flows.
Analytics & Risk use historical data, tariffs, and contracts for forecasts and ESG.
Result: one onboarding flow, many downstream products – all powered by the same digital twin.

Version A · Core Digital Twin Story

“First, we onboard Mai Hydropower just once through this wizard, and when I click Generate Digital Twin it creates a structured record of everything the system needs to know about this plant – technology, location, capacity, tariffs, and data feeds.”
“That digital twin is sent through our /api/der-assets endpoint into the Global DER Registry, which makes Mai a live node inside our Virtual Clean Power Network, with a unique asset ID the marketplace and SDN can both reference.”
“From there, the marketplace can create buy/sell contracts for Mai’s output, and the SDN controller uses the same twin to decide how many electrons can actually flow to which buyers, so financial trades and physical flows stay in sync.”
